Parent Training

Improving parenting skills
Some parents are relieved when their children go to school: they feel that the biggest part of their job in rearing the children is over; from now on it’s the schools responsibility. This is a wrong perception. The responsibility of the parents goes continues beyond paying for the school fees and making sure that the children are well fed and dressed. The parents can be of invaluable importance of the further development of the children. A good school “partners with parents” in the guiding and teaching the children. This cooperation will flourish if parents have some training in how to effectively take part in and stimulate the overall development of their children.

This course gives the parents the needed background information and skills to do just that: in a very practical and interactive way the parents learn and experience how they can contribute to the wholistic development of their children.
